Account Manager - Programmatic Advertising

Your role

district m is looking for an Account Manager - Programmatic Advertising to join its team. Your role as an Account Manager for this dynamic start-up will lead you to be in direct contact with websites/publishers and to propose innovative advertising solutions adapted to their needs. You will be working from district m’s 12,000 sqft facility in Montreal’s Mile End district.

Your mission

  • Provide front-line sales support to national publishers on their programmatic needs
  • Ensure proper setup, use and management of programmatic ad serving technology, and make timely updates to support the addition of new products, partners and technology to remain competitive and optimize performance
  • Work with product teams from all departments to implement best practices on new programmatic solutions.
  • Utilize analytics to monitor the inventory yield and optimize revenue on all remnant / indirect inventory across the network
  • Deal with problem ads and issues that arise in a timely manner
  • Vet out and test new partner solutions
  • Analyze programmatic CPM, impression and revenue delivery trend across all channels, partners, platforms, devices, and ad types
  • Continuously research programmatic market shifts to understand the latest trends on programmatic spending by different verticals and advertisers
  • Provide periodic revenue insights report highlighting trends and on-going recommendations to determine optimal floor pricing and maximizing revenue across all sales channels

Requirements

  • 3 years experience in revenue optimization and inventory management
  • A strategic, analytical thinker with strong quantitative and qualitative skills
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and present information in a meaningful way
  • Familiar with web-based advertising metrics
  • Experience with DFP, AppNexus or a similar ad serving platform
  • Enjoys a fun, fast paced environment
  • Self-starter, good at working both independently and with a team
  • Flexible, able to meet short deadlines
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Prior experience with all forms of digital advertising targeting, as well as working with data warehouses, internal customer databases, rich media, etc.
  • Knowledge of mobile/video ad serving, ad networks and overall landscape

We’ll call you right away if you are also

  • Familiar with computer coding language, specifically HTML, JavaScript
  • Experienced with header bidding, server to server solutions, Google Adsense and Ad Manager
