Experience and Workplace Coordinator

district m is looking for a highly organized, driven, and meticulous Experience and workplace coordinator to join our team! This person will report to the Director of people.

ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities

  • Be creative in finding solutions to keep employees happy;
  • Complete special projects as assigned;
  • Assist in setting up internal events, client meetings, and manage the community calendar;
  • Greet and assist guests;
  • Provide general support to visitors;
  • Manage the office equipment and purchasing of office supplies;
  • Manage the office’s security access such as providing employees with alarm system codes and key fob;
  • Ensure processes and admin duties are processed, such as post and deliveries or booking travel/hotels for staff;
  • Deal with day-to-day maintenance inquiries;
  • Coordinate, stock and monitor all office supplies and kitchen supplies;
  • Ensure office efficiency is maintained by carrying out planning and execution of equipment procurement, layouts and office systems;
  • Oversee calls for maintenance on machines, printers, and various equipment;
  • Ensure that work area is clean, secure, and well maintained.

QualificationsQualifications

  • Be able to work under pressure and demonstrate ability to react quickly and productively in a changing environment;
  • Have a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a similar position;
  • Have strong communication skills verbal and written;
  • Bilingual, French and English;
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Demonstrate organizational skills;
  • Be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships;
  • Be rigorous and have attention to details;
  • Manage priorities and meet deadlines.
