Sales Director, DSP Relations & Integration


district m is looking to hire a Sales Director, DSP Relations & Integration for our office in Toronto. The DSP Relationship Director will play an important role in developing relations with existing and new clients by having a deep understanding of the DSP market as well as partnerships and product teams at district m.

Your missionYour mission

  • Develop a deep understanding of the DSP market in coordination with the Partnerships & Strategy team;
  • Build strong relations with C-level executives of DSPs;
  • Create and nurture long-term relationships with a base of existing DSPs;
  • Identify additional revenue opportunities within existing DSP’s clients;
  • Prospect, close and integrate new DSPs;
  • Promote and educate the sales teams of current existing DSPs on the company’s value proposition and products;
  • Leverage relations with DSPs to assist Product understand DSPs product roadmaps and innovation cycles;
  • Assist the Business Development team by providing insights on DSPs’ buyers;
  • Manage a sales pipeline and regularly provide reports and forecasts against established goals;
  • Provide consistent thought leadership on market trends, competitive dynamics and overall company positioning;
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and grow your industry knowledge & connections;
  • Be able to execute an account mapping strategy.

Job requirementsJob requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field/discipline;
  • 5+ years of related experience in sales, business development, and/or product within an advertising technology company is a plus;
  • Growth mindset: willing to take risks, ask questions, and even appear foolish in order to learn, not focused on status or authority;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication aptitudes as well as attention to details;
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills;
  • Strong ability in building and managing relationships at the C level;
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully coach a team.
