Senior Content writer

District m is looking for a dynamic communications professional to join our marketing team.

The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented person who is passionate about digital marketing and who wants to build content that will both educate our audiences as well as be able to move them through the customer journey. Working closely with the product, sales and rest of marketing team, you will be responsible for the full messaging and storytelling for one of our solution lines.

Your ResponsibilitiesYour Responsibilities

  • Create content to drive leads, customers, feature adoption, awareness and increase market;
  • Work closely with product managers, marketing teammates, growth hacker and support team to create effective communication and content that articulate our product’s core benefits properly and consistently;
  • Research and leverage the latest insights and statistics on a given topic;
  • Assist in developing product positioning for key solutions, verticals, messaging frameworks and research to drive competitive differentiators;
  • Collaborate with peer Research Managers from other parts of the business to identify connection points and build out a holistic understanding of different user types and their needs and expectations;
  • Provide input and content when necessary for corporate website, blog, social media communities, and campaigns;
  • Act as your own copy editor and review content in the process of development. Iterate and update content and materials for accuracy and completeness;
  • Create content for district m website, landing pages, blogs, white papers and campaigns;
  • Participate in customer testimonials and client engagement exercise.

Your skillsYour skills

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a related field or position;
  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing or related field;
  • Experience building audiences either online or offline;
  • Proven track record in developing highly effective product positioning, messaging, sales tools, presentations and digital marketing content;
  • Team lead or individual contributor;
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal communications skills;
  • Good organizational and time-management skills;
  • Perfectly Bilingual, English and French.
