UI/UX Designer


Your Role

district m is looking for a UI/UX designer to lead the design effort for one of its self-serve digital platforms. In this role, you would be in direct contact with the product owner and other internal stakeholders whose feedback will be central to your work. You would also have the opportunity to establish the design foundation and to set the standards for a young and dynamic platform right from district m’s 12,000 sq. ft. office in Montréal’s Mile End neighbourhood.

Your responsibilities

  • Engage closely with the product owner and other stakeholders to gather project requirements
  • Evaluate user feedback and needs to improve product quality and ease-of-use
  • Design screen mockups for our self-serve platform
  • Design user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
  • Design an optimal and breathtaking user experience

Your skillsYour skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in a UI/UX designer position or related role
  • Proficient in using Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe Photoshop
  • No coding skills required – design is the focus.
  • Portfolio would be nice but not required
  • Excellent communication skills
